Great stuff Vanessa! I like the green patches in the water. I went really heavy on the white where the ship is rising out of the water. I wanted it to look like the water was almost boiling in an effort to expel the ship. I didn't use black in the wash, just green and am happy with the result.

Great stuff! I like the look of the purple on the Stargate Rock... :-) I think they have used Hawk Turquoise over a white base in the centre of the eyes in the WD. I'm shooting to get as close as possible to that. Thanks for the new vids!

I'm with you regarding airbrushing vs hand brushing Vanessa. I find airbrushes great for base coats, priming, and sealing the finished model. I do everything else by hand. Much more relaxing, and less fiddly cleanup!

@WatergazerRed Yep, the speed vids give me a headache, and you can't get a feel for the technique. Think I'm going to follow your lead with my dragon and dirigible stands. Have some clear rods here somewhere, I just know it. Off to watch Port 4!

Something else I thought was worth mentioning with GW minis is to remove them from the spues exactly as you have done. Once the part is free, you can normally get the digs closer to the post joint and clip it off clen, then file any residue away. Twisting the post can sometimes cause the plastic ...
