oh gosh, some of my favorites are: The Boondock Saints, GO, Empire Records, dazed and Confused, The big lebowski, Pulp Fiction,SLC punk, Dead Presidents,The Breakfast Club, American History X, The Chinese Connection, The Little Mermaid and Donnie Darko. that is as short a list as i could possibly make.(and yes i know the little mermaid seems a little out of place, but what can i say?)

all types including, but not limited to, punk rock.
Books:
The Bible, The art of war, anything by steinbeck, nerve centers and pressure points by bruce tegner, Guerrilla Warfare by Che Guevara, The Kama Sutra, and any of Bruce Lee's books just to name a few.
