Since at the age of 8, Tabia was involved with music. Little did she know that her first public performance at a school concert was merely the beginning for her. From singing in the bath to being a recording artiste was not what she had imagined. However, being so much in love with music, it is easy to understand her progressional state. "Tabia sings The Gift" was her very first recording debut in 2004 and was offically launched at the The Attic Restaurant and Sports Bar. This single was produced out of Sky's Studio, Adrian Bailey, a leading musician today. "I was terribly excited....my very own song at the age of 16!!", Tabia says. This was the exact encouragement she needed to become focused on wanting more for herself musically. As time progressed, collabarations were done which included Fross and Luta, with 2007 being her first attempt at soca. In addition, not only does she want to be an interior designer, but more importantly, she is aspiring to be an internationally known singer. Hence Tabia says "It is important for me to remain focused on my goals". Tabia understands the importance of being a well-rounded musician and hence, is involved with different genre of music. From being a part of a musical "From Ballads to Broadway" production, to rendering blues in musical plays, is just a couple of ways she sees fit to harness her talent.
