Twenty years ago, a young man abandoned everything, left his small hometown for a metropolis in the South. He was trying to do some venture business, and the most important thing is: He wanted to convince his girlfriend that he could make his dreams come true, if only he would work hard and think smartly. Three years later, his dream was still only a dream. But in his most difficult time, his girlfriend left her well-respected position and parents and traveled thousands of kilometers to marry him, a poor guy could not even afford a formal wedding.
Now this guy is an old man, and his wife is not young anymore. Their life is still tough, but fortunately, to this day, they are happy and love each other deeply, no regrets.
Ten years ago, this old man met another young man and heard his story. The young man immigrated to Canada, could not find a job in Vancouver, and hardly could afford the expensive living in this city. He told his girlfriend, "Would you mind waiting for me one more year before we marry? I have something to do." He went to the North, Whitehorse, a town far away, close to the Arctic Circle. After one year of hard work in a restaurant, he pinched and saved 20,000 dollars and came back to Vancouver. The happy result was, he married the girl who had waited for him for so long a time.
When the old man told this young man's story to his wife, she said, "Very touching, a real man! But he is not the first one. You did the same thing a long time ago, when you were young. Remember?"
Actually, the old man totally had forgotten that thing he had done 20 years before, until his wife reminded him. But he has never forgotten his wife's lifelong support for him.
That night, he wrote down this song.

In autumn of 1984, a young boy took a three-day, two-night train across 4,000 kilometers from the South to the North to start his university study and independent life. On the campus, he met a classmate, a girl who came from a Western province about 3,000 kilometers away. At first sight, his heart and soul were taken away by her, but she knew nothing about it. He was 16, in the '80s of the last century, and in their hometown, this age was too young to know something about love. He just thought this girl was so ideal and gorgeous that he would like to connect his whole life with her, but she knew nothing about it.
Year in, year out, he was very shy and never said a word to her until close to graduation.
Age 19, on a snowy winter night, he mustered all his courage to send some tickets to her, to a figure skating show brought by the visiting West German national youth figure skating team. She saw some lights in his eyes and felt kind of familiar. That was the first time she talked to him. She was happy because she loved to enjoy graceful figure skating. Her girl roommates were happier because this dumb young man just put all the tickets in her hand, then, running with a big, red face, forgot to keep one for himself.
Before graduation, he wrote a long letter, confessed everything to her. This thick letter of a dozen pages made her tears fall and grabbed her heart and soul.
After graduation, they each returned to their hometown, 3000 kilometers distant. They swore to each other, "This life, you are part of me, and I am part of you. Someday we will be together again."
This promise was realized after six long, tough, separated, and lonely years.
Finally, after experiencing hard struggling and huge sacrifice, the first love turned into the final love; the youngest love became the deepest love.
They made a miracle come true.
As one song of a trilogy, "True miracle" is a gift sent by art gods and goddesses. I am so lucky: got this perfect music, the inspiration of the lyrics came to me, and finally the song was sung by a wonderful singer.
