Beauty seriously marred by background noise. On these modern ships you cannot get close to the water. There are no portholes at sea-level, no deck openings low down so what's the poing of being on them. So you can be on a floating hotel without knowing you are floating?

This recording has been my favourite for nearly 50 years now since my father brought it home in 1964. It generates a vibrancy and excitement I have not heard in any other.
