About this user

I am a language nerd developing my talent with the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas (hence the name TTULangGenius). I got my B.A. in French from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, an M.A. in Romance Languages (French concentration) from Texas Tech and I am working to get my second M.A. in Applied Linguistics from there before finally moving on to my doctorate in parts unknown.

I study (or have studied) French (advanced level), Spanish (advanced level), Japanese (intermediate level), Mandarin Chinese (beginner level), German (beginner level) and Latin (beginner level).

I love art as well. I have taken regular art classes as electives for my B.A. and I do photography (digital and film) as a hobby. I also want to return to illustration when I get the time. I am also interested in motion picture film-making, but I can't afford to get my motion picture film cameras fixed right now. :(
