@clive3262 I took some cine film in 1969 of some mothballed RN ships up near Porchester Castle hav`nt looked at it for some years when time permits i`l put it on UTUBE as i recal i think D77 & D79 were there the mistake i made was not to get any cine of HMS Victorious that was awaiting the scrap...

Ah The Bowmans i remember this show well as at the age of 11 years old i was in the audiance at hat was then a brand new television centre the recording took about an hour a great evenings entertainment.

Some Years ago on BBC Radio 2 the late Ronnie Hilton used a tune by Billy May for his theme music the tune was called SHOW ME THE WAY TO GO HOME, does anybody have this tune and if so could you please upload it onto the UTUBE website.
