I'm studying to become a flight technician, and we got to study bird strikes specifically, I've seen birds that dug themselves halfway through a wing.

So it can take out a turbine engine (which is made out of titanium by the way where as a propeller is composite), but it can't take out a propeller? Your logic is lacking. I've seen the effects of bird strikes and I can tell you right now theres well enough power in one to knock out a propeller.
