TV:PBS Movies with the help of Clint,Morgan, Lawrence, Lange, Pfeiffer, Mary Stuart Masterson,Olympia Dukakis, Cathy Bates,Jack Nicholson, Pacino, DeNiro, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherlalnd, Clooney.(plus 50 more or so) To me its specific actors and directors that MAKE almost any movie great. (not always older actors either.) The list goes on forever. Documentaries about real people and so on.

Elder +current BLUES legends,- those who changed the blues to 'rockin blues.' was lucky brat to see Doors, CCR, Cream, Al Cooper, Orig BS+T, Country Joe+ theFish, CSN+Y,Muddy Waters,JeffAirplane,Byrds, Kinks, Animals. As a15- yr-old I worked one break per nite at a nearby club to justify free admission. yes. Sellin freaks ice cream was straight out of a Cheech and Chong movie..'67 and '68 I think? that club brought us Hendrix and Janis, only 6 feet from us-floor level. Saved my life. No security was needed in clubs back then. You Tube- outta site.
Books:
Most anything on the philosophy of Buddhism, its simplicity is great. Its not work to read it. I know, I am dyslexic. Also Transcedental Meditation. David Lynch has a personal foundation to teach TM to students. To help them manage stress of school- tests and grades. There needs to be a push to teach the correct manner of practicing TM . It would help stop the mentality of killing people to get peace. In brain scans, the activity of parts of the brain, esp stress and focus.. are benefited for investing 20 minutes a day..Neither TM or Buddhism interfere with any religion one may be a part of. They only make one see what is good in life. And how to cope with the repetitive stuff- as a necessary part. Even great doctors with great jobs as teachers and traveling speakers, at the cutting edge (not me) get bored. We all have coping to do.
