@kansas66204 That is not entirely true. Depending on the state you are located in, once they pass the registers hence ALL POINTS OF SALE, they may be subject to arrest. They Target store I worked in (NYC), once you passed the registers, you were only a few feet from exiting. There weren't any...

I worked for Target (Security/APS) and if you make it out the store with the product you'll have nothing to worry about. If you work there, steal and happen to quit before getting caught, Target may pursue legal matter.
