About this user
The Tracie Lawlor Trust for Cystic Fibrosis was set up in Wexford, Ireland, at the start of 2008 after the death of Tracie Lawlor (24) after a life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). It is the brainchild of Tracie's Mam & brother's Joseph & Brian. Since then it has grown immensely across Wexford, the South East and Ireland. With the support of many people we have being able to grow and provide for our CF's. We are here to help all people with CF in Ireland as much as we can.
The Tracie Lawlor Trust (TLT) is different from other charities as we are a pro-active, pre-emptive charity. We do not believe in re-action rather action to the fact. We also have an open mind to all forms of medicine and will investigate various alternative forms along with conventional. As we perceive conventional to have limits, we have taken a huge undertaking and investigating role into herbal, supplemental and other non-conventional forms of medicine. We feel a holistic approach is the best approach.
Thus far we have purchased many Chi and FIR hot house machines for people with CF. Anecdotal evidence so far from CF's who have being using these machines has being very promising. We are also just launching into our research projects over the next 5 year.
Please check out our website for more information and updates on current progress. You can support us by donations, by just spreading the word of what we are doing to others or by coming along to one of our events listed on our web-page's events section. Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion.
