So i've been playing guitar for about 5 years. I'm currently in the band Into Thy Hour, check us out. I wanted to start playing guitar because I wanted a way to express myself and guitar seemed the perfect way to do it. Since you can feel emotions in a melody or harmony that you can't feel with any other instrument. Some of my major band influences are At The Gates, Killswitch Engage, Darkest Hour, Meshuggah, and Parkway Drive. Some of my favorite guitar players are Shawn Lane, Jason Becker, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert, Marco Sfogli, and Kris Norris.
