TILT (Teaching Intermedia Literacy Tools) is offering a new media program, free for young people, ages 13-19. Part of the Ninth Street Independent Film Center, TILT encourages young people to deconstruct mass media, as well as create and distribute their own.

In the tradition of Freestyle, young people will come together, brainstorm and create something new, original and unexpected. So, what can you expect at the TILT Freestyle Media Lab? Well, you can expect experimentation, collaboration and that no two weeks will be the same. You will have access to the TILT media lab, the opportunity to experiment with different types of digital media equipment and software, and have a finished product at the end of each session.

Everyone is welcome. All that is required is the desire to create and try something new.
