FAVORITE WALTON SCENES

Even to this day, I can still hear the sound of that front screen door opening and closing. It has become one of my most favorite sounds in the world.

This show, was like no other. And the acting...well...it seemed as if they were not acting, but actually living the lives they potrayed.

The series was something I would look forward to watching every week...and even when Johnboy went off to college, I still stuck around, but you could tell things were beginning to change.

The children grew up, and so did we. And the characters became uninteresting, and with the introdcution of new characters and new children...the series would never be the same.

Still, I can hear them all calling out to each other at night, saying their goodnites to one another. Something my family would do...and we would all laugh.

I can still hear that old front door, and the sound of Reckless the dog, barking...and the way the children would walk barefoot to school.

And now that the show is on DVD...I can relive all of those memories again.

I will post some of my favorite scenes and explain why they are my favorites, and maybe you will agree or not...

I realize that I do not own this material, but It would be a shame to keep it all under wraps.
