Crafty London melody merchants The Molotovs are about release their debut mini album And The Heads Did Roll released through Fierce Panda on the 5th October 2009. This comes after the success of the single Come To Grief, which made it onto Drowned In Sounds single of the week among others.

The five members of The Molotovs follow the eloquent home grown pop lineage that runs from The Kinks to the Mystery Jets and combine it with their own love of poetry and fable, carving a sound that is jittery and yet oddly atmospheric. They write songs, which are both rousing and melancholic. And The Heads Did Roll equates to twenty minutes worth of intelligent, uplifting pop noise.

The band offer a selection of video recordings - 'live from the living room' on a regulat basis, so keep your eyes peeled for more material!
