THE INFECTED DISTRICT is a short film written, directed, and edited by Joe Felong. The production was part of Buffalo Media Resources/Squeaky Wheel's Buffalo Youth Media Institute program, beginning in October of 2006 and ending with the screening of the film at Buffalo's Market Arcade Theater on June 16th, 2007. The film also earned Joe Felong's acceptance in to New York University's world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts. This YouTube channel is made to host the film.
The film combines historical events that actually occurred along Buffalo's waterfront with a fictional point of view, offering a unique perspective on the never-before-told stories of the Canal Street District
