With a PhD in Music Production and Technologies, he studied at the Mayeusis Music Conservatoire (Vigo, Spain). He took part in the first and second drum course in Salvador Niebla's class in Vigo and Pontevedra. ¶ He attended the Drummers Collective (The Collective School) in New York, where he studied with Kim Planfield, Michael Lauren , Bobby Sanabria, Mark Walker, Ian Froman, Frank Katz, Lincoln Goines, Jim Paine, Cliff Korman, Mike Clark, among others. ¶ Working now as a free-lancer, he teaches at the Oporto's Orff Institute, at the Oporto's Percussion Atelier and participates both as drummer and percussionist in several projects , such as André Indiana, GNR, Pedro Abrunhosa, INDIANABLUESBAND, DEP, Manuel Beleza Trio, Manel Cruz ,Paulo Praça Só Vicente, Varuna, Paulo Barros, Minneman Blues Band, Sloppy Joe, Quarto Jazz, MMJazz, Septeto Maleblues, Jeffrey Davies Quartet, Sandro Norton Quartet, Rebop, Cooking Jungle, Silky, Komodo Wagon, MOSH, Kiko Group, ZÖE, among others.
