About this user

Hi my name is Thomas. I am naturally a serious person but I have my fun moments every now and then. I love making new friends with musicians like myself or even if a find a particular person's videos interesting. I like chatting and befriending people who understand me and have a wide range of interests. I am also a non-conformist (being different from the people around me) meaning that I am all for those who want to be different e.g. style, interests, hobbies and I respect those people.
Now for the music. :)
I play the keyboard/synthesizer for a living and I'm already composing tunes of my own. My style of music is techno, dance, pop and atmospheric and my goal is to be famous for my compositions, be a DJ but with synths (why I'm called SynthJocky) and (if lucky) will become an icon of the synthesizer.
I have played keyboards ever since I was 7, my first keyboard being a beginner casio. I am now working on full sized korg and roland synthesizers.
My musical interests are veeerrryy different from most people I know. Instead of modern rock and RnB (which I like to call 'modern trash' ) I listen to 80's synth pop and techno dance music. Unfortunately I get ridiculed for it a lot. I also hate facebook, myspace, twitter and all those chat websites, I prefer to chat with people 'in person' and somewhat have a life instead. I 'was' in a rock band but we have decided that it was time to call it a day and end the band... ah well means more time for my own music. :)
It has always been my dream to make it as a successful synth player and play my compositions in front of hundreds even thousands of people :)
