The origins of the Boomstick are quite simple: think of his creative abilities like a shotgun- synapses fire at a dull rate for extended periods until a buildup occurs; this results in an instantaneous, large and messy explosion of work and words. Thus, his mind works like a shotgun: synaptic boomstick. Simple :D

Boomstick does not refer to himself in the third-person, however, nor does he openly call himself such- he refers to himself as Alex. They are the same person, you can believe these words!
