The World Economic Forum is wrapping up in Davos, Switzerland. Many of the topics discussed ranged from economic growth, education and the Eurozone crisis. But are all the discussions and debt just empty words? Do forum attendees really care about the agenda or creating their own? Lauren Lyster, host of Capital Account, joins us to wrap up the Forum.

The Community Health Volunteers seen in this video were trained by Save the Children in Bangladesh through a grant from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and private contributions. To learn more about Save the Children and Community Health Volunteers, visit: ( http://www.saveth... ) ( http://www.goodgo... )
You can follow the work of one of Afia (one of the Community Health Volunteers seen in this video) at Save the Children's Good Goes website: ( http://www.goodgo... )
This video is monetized because this is my year-round full-time job. However, I do not draw a salary from donations (including "overhead" donations). Full disclosure on this can be found here: ( http://uncultured... )

This is a story of what happens when the poor speak for themselves. When people speak on behalf of the needs of others - regardless of one's passion, one's eloquence, or one's on-the-ground experience - they are a filter whether they like it or not.
The only way to bypass this filter is by enabling those in need to speak for themselves. Only by having those in need speak for themselves can we truly know whether any charity, aid, and development is being done well or merely being marketed well.
All aid beneficiary responses (i.e. Bangladeshi mothers who received help from Community Health Volunteers) were unscripted and direct testimonials. Most on-screen narrations by Community Health Volunteers were co-scripted with me and the health volunteer. All off-screen narrations by the volunteers (i.e. narration to B-Roll) were unscripted testimonials direct from the Community Health Volunteers.

Even though I'm just 16, I always wanted to move to the USA somewhy. I just simply love it.
Unfortunately, I lost my YouTube password, so I won't be able to post any other video's :/.
Thanks once again, take care!
