Life is dark
darkness aglow, illumined in and through
translucent billows of ebbing, flowing yes-ness

pause
to see and recognize
your dream within the life sea
drifting lazily but purposefully
among and a part of
the ever-changing light lace

we do not traverse time

five seconds ago is forever lost to us,
leaving only a shadow of memory

five seconds yet ahead we can but guess
attempt to meddle

volitional perceivers
eyes seeing
between two blinks

cling not to this moment
lest you be lost
as it fades to mud, then nothing

less
