Descole shamelessly used that weakness of his and made him his puppet. That, I think, makes him heartless and selfish (ESPECIALLY SELFISH). Despite of that, Jean has no mercy to anybody. In Eternal Diva he even would have killed Luke without hesitation while he was trying to save Janice; Only the professor could interfere before it was too late. unu
