About this user
I am a student at the University of Utah. I'm very interested in Japanese culture, Japanese and Korean friends, and the samurai. I enjoy Japan the most, but I'm also a supporter of Korea all the way, unlike many people :(. I'm studying Japanese language and Asian culture. I also hope to learn Korean after I learn Japanese. I'm also a practitioner of iaido (muso jikiden eishin ryu) and aikido, and I want to start practicing kenjutsu. If you are from Japan or Korea, then you are most welcome here! You are my friends!!!
If you are a Christian or a Christian martial arts practitioner, then you are most welcome here! Feel free to leave a comment or share a video! I'd love to chat with you and share philosophy!
You are welcome to discuss martial arts with me; I'm very interested in, well, most martial arts, Japanese martial arts in particular, primarily samurai arts and not ninja arts. As for debates, I'm not a scholar, as I am only a mere bujin of a year in practice or so. However, I am a Japanese culture scholar, an Asian culture scholar, and a samurai history and culture scholar.
Also, I'm sure you know that I'm an avid follower of Christ. If you are an atheist or nonbeliever and have come to slander me, in all likelihood I will block you. Most atheists, by my experience, are bitter people who grew up with bad Christian examples and who are hateful of the West and Western philosophy, rather than just "seekers of the truth" (or are just not open minded entirely). If you do not possess any of these feelings or traits, then I will most certainly respect you as long as you respect me. As far as theological debates go, I am closed to doing so, as I view internet debates as fruitless and useless from experience. However, if you wish to find out more about Christianity, please read "The End of Reason" by Ravi Zacharias, "The Case for Christ" By Lee Strobel, "Disappointment With God" by Phillip Yancey, and "Smart Faith", by J.P. Moreland and Mark Matlock. I hope that these books will enlighten you about the truths of Christianity. If you have questions, then I would be happy to answer them. As long as you are willing to listen and consider what I say.
