The story of Sweet Nightmare began in 2008, after 5ist1vn2´s girlfriend committed suicide, shortly after this tragedy he started composing music, all who he dedicated to his loved one and who he still saw in dreams. A few months after that 5istvs2 and Aldo met, immediately they showed each other their work and decided to start working together. Both started composing some songs, and when they were satisfied enough with their music, they began recording. The 2 members started working on the concept of the band, deciding that the band should be a mix of both sex genders for maximum creativity, and since both members were male, they began searching for female talent. So once the music was recorded they needed the vocals, for that, they started and extensive search among the female singers in their city, after lots of castings they found Andréa, to be the best prepared and giving the music that extra touch they were looking for. The 3 members started working on the lyrics an soon after began recording the vocals. By December of the same year, while still working on new material they commenced searching for a bass player and a drummer, finding short after Nyu Love, an excellent bass player who was well known in their city, especially after letting free 2 koala bears, and strangely a baby elephant, that was by then already part of the concept of the band. Sweet Nightmare is a new original band that combines different music styles such as industrial, electronic, pop and nu metal. With powerful yet sweet female vocals, nu metal riffs and delightful synths they have toured several cities in their country making new fans in every concert. Recently realizing their first demo they are all ready recording their second demo with a renovated style and fresh modern sounds but never really forgetting the original concept. The concept of the band is based on a twisted type of child innocence, trying to take their fans to a fantasy mysterious world through magical sounds and a unique music gender.
