I'm an sceptic (that's the nearest description to someone without ANY beliefs whatsoever...). Open Minded, Introspective & respectful of what is respectable... I can't stand stupidity though... Because of my profession, I meet a lot of different people and my clearest observation is this surprising one : Religions are mainly harbours for people who can't live with their wrong actions from the past and the only way for them to let go of that is to BELIEVE that an higher being care about them, an all merciful being... That means that religions are filled with recovering or not prisoners, liars, wife beaters, stealers, child molesters/beaters, bad parents etc...It's not everybody, but, it's a considerable amount of people... It may sound false or weird to you but just back off and observe their behaviours and you will see clear... Peace..."
