Hey Suzy!! My name is Alyx Williams. I found you by searching "asl+song" and watched that Black Eye Peas one. I read your comment, and I just thought, we seem to have some stuff in common. I was also in a car accident, but just December 5, 2009. I had severe brain injury, in a coma for 8 days, had a trach so I could breath. I have damage to my right frontal lobe, and occipital lobe. But while I was at the hospital, with the trach, I couldn't speak to communicate with my family. I went to an elementary school with a hearing impaired program, there was always an interpreter around. I picked it up. I started signing in the hospital not long after waking from the coma. I'm teaching family members if they're interested.

Hi Suzy, your smile and gestures are so warm, welcoming, and open on with two friends above. I could also tell that "Peanut" really like you too. How long have you known her? You took my thoughts back to when I volunteered as a guide for blind skiers in Michigan. Thanks so much for sharing.
