The Supreme Satanists is a British industrial rock band formed in Blackpool, England; in 1998, when failed vocalist, "Burner", met DJ, "Mr.Masher", performing one of his famous "Mix-tape-mash-ups" in a sleazy strip club.
Burner, the front-man for The Supreme Satanists, was adopted by a gay couple in Brighton during the early 1980s. As a tyke, he was a very quiet little fellow, who wore taped spectacles and platform boots, and sported hair that fell down to his knee-caps. During his high school years, Burner worked with many short-lived bands in various bars in & around Brighton, hence why his vocals have developed into the magnificent sound we hear today. Burner suffers from acute pyromania.
Mr.Masher, the band's mixer, was born by a prostitute on the streets of South London in the mid 70s. He was raised by a nice Albanian family until he developed Aquagenic Urticaria; a rare disease in which the body becomes allergic to water. To cure this, Mr.Masher was taken to a hospital where he spent many years being blasted with a water cannon in order to immunise him. Unfortunately, the trouble didn't end there for Mr.Masher, he was savagely beaten by a gang of racist skinheads in the late 1980s, which resulted in one of his testicles having to be removed. Tragically, only two years later, Mr.Masher contracted the deadly Ortes River fever. Having to live his life in quarantine for two years, Mr.Masher began to learn how to DJ to give him something to do. Luckily, after two years, the fever mostly went away, however Mr.Masher's other testicle had to be surgically removed because it had become elongated from the fever.
Impressed by Mr.Masher's performance, Burner met up with Mr.Masher for a few dozen pints, and the pair decided that they wanted to collaborate. So, Burner sold his house for a few kilograms of LSD, and the pair embarked on a nationwide tour.
During their years touring just about every town in The UK, The Supreme Satanists worked with some of the most esteemed industrial rock bands and solo artists in the British music scene, such as:
DJ Dom, The Hair Blair Bunch, and even Chainsaw Joe.
Despite their immense talent, the pairs big break didn't come until late 2008. Whilst performing one of their "songs" in a "club" in Southend-On-Sea, Essex; they were spotted by head of Orgazoid Records Inc. - Bob Smith. He signed the duo onto his label for a 12-track album deal which is due to be released in the first quarter of 2010.
