As explained so eloquently in the statement above, the magic of song and dance is really super important to Colin. We feel that one way to show solidarity with Colin, no matter where in this lovely crazy world you live, is to put a symbol on your profile that clearly and proudly states your support for him. If everyone uses the same symbol, it is a visual display of unity and solidarity for all to see. The more of you who participate, the more noticeable it will become. The individual may be easy to ignore, but a united song and dance group is marginally less easy to ignore.
We feel that an easy way to do this, is for all of our beautiful and very special friends to simply copy and paste the avatar / picture of Saint Jude that is on our profile and transfer it onto your own profile page. Basically, make our avatar, your avatar. This picture of the patron Saint of lost causes, has special and obvious significance for Colin, so what symbol could be more fitting for us to use?!

Colin Duffy is a true Irish Republican onanist. Colin has been arrested by those naughty scamps from the PSNI and was today (Friday 27th March 2009) remanded in custody on charges related to the murder of two British soldiers in Northern Ireland. Colin claims to be innocent and has apparently gone on hunger strike in protest at his incarceration, possibly / maybe vowing to refuse food for as long as the British hold him prisoner. Although he may have had his fingers crossed behind his back when he made that vow.
As the following excerpt from a news story printed in the Belfast Good Food Guide shows, Colin Duffy is willing...well, in theory anyway, to starve to death if the British do not release him.....
Spokesman for republican group Eirigi, Breandan MacFuckwit, also said there is concern for his health after it emerged the prominent republican is refusing chicken tika masala. His brother Fluffy Duffy said his weight has dropped from 12st 2lbs to 12st since he was first arrested. (Yes, I know, isn't it shocking!!)
'He might, in theory, see it through, and if I know Colly, he theoretically could,' he said. He also described his brother as 'an unwashed republican' who 'has always stood next to people on buses, and he always will' (Although we possible misheard that bit).
Mr MacFuckwit said of Duffy's hunger strike: 'That is a matter for Colin and his personal chef. But there is a lot of concern from his personal trainer about his condition. There is a modicum of support for him, and I think that was reflected in the turn out last night and it was called at very, very short noticed, there was around 200 (1.75 million other people in Northern Ireland were washing their hair that night) people at the meeting. Although there was a lot of anger when they realised that the Welsh pop star Duffy, wasn't actually appearing.
