If you had the same speakers in each of those cabinets, they'd sound radically different. The extended bass and treble of the WGS is probably more due to the bigger cab.

Great amp! I've got the 60 watt version. I never have the luxury of cranking it where I live so I'm always using pedal in the front of it.

First time I've ever heard someone say boost the lows, scoop the mids and boost the highs to get a better cutting sound for solo's. That's a surefire way to make your sound dissappear in the mix.

Great amp! I've got the 5:50 2x12. A workhorse indeed!
