I did the same thing at my riding lesson this week, except my wonderful horse tried to help and jumped the standard instead of dodging it and tossing me. We didn't quite clear it though. :) Luckily we didn't break anything (or ourselves, haha).

Amazing how she (and most hunter/eq riders today) can jump ahead of her horse and get away with it. If I did that my horse would let ME jump the fence ALONE!
