Im the sort of person with a hell of a lot of intrests. Most of my intrests are scientific in one way or another. My whole life I have had a fascination with Flight and weather (amongst otherthings) So Learning to fly Sailplanes / gliders and chasing then photo / videographing thunderstorms are my two greatest hobby's and passions. I am also interested in Music. I play severeal instruments and enjoy making 100% original Music. I like to think my music is good, but maybe I am similar to thosecontestants on Pop star reality TV who cannot sing at all, and get extremely upset when they are told they cant sing and will not be progressing to the show. I went in several competitions over the years at various "Unsigned artists" Websites where people can make original music or remix existing content and win prizes for it. I recieved many great reviews, but no Podium finishes in any competitions. I felt that at many websites if you wernt "In" with the "In group" then you would have no chance of winning. So I ghot a little disenchanted with the whole Online Music scene. Many Prize winners had no actual musical talent, they where just downloading other peoples loops ( snippets of music in lengths usually 1, 2, 4, 8 12 bars long etc) and then copy / paste them along side one another in a special program. When played back they call their own. I understand doing this for a remix, but you cant call that original music and thats what many prize winners had done for original song comps. Where as I was just making my own loops from scratch. I hardly even use presets. So I gave up Trying to get anywhere with my music. With that I am happy to make Original music for independant film makers, other video hobbyists, community groups, not for profit orgs etc. You will be able to hear some of my music in some of my storm chase videos. Also you can see and hear more of my music and videos at my old Youtube account "supercellwish". Another love of mine is Animals. My wife and I have no children. We want them and love Kids. We have just not been fortunate enough to concieve one in the 9 years we''ve been together now. So our Paternal and Maternal instincts are accidently focused on our Dogs, Cats and other animals. We especially treat our dogs like human children, but I think we fall short of being crazies. Like we dont push them around in prams or put fancy cloths on them. In winter we've been known to make and old jumper fit on them, but thats about it. We just spoil them with good food, toys walks, and drives.
We live in a small country town in Southern New South Wales, Australia. We like gardening, though you wouldnt know it, the state our garde is in. We have a Goat, 2 Dogs, 4 cats, a rescued pidgeon, a rescued rabbit, 4 chooks, though 1 chook has been missing for 2 days and is feared lost or dead, and 2 fish. We are often hand rearing native animals and either releasing tem or handing them over to another carere for preparation for release etc. we hope to get a snake one day. I would also like to have an large outside pond with some Australian Freshwater Turtles. We basically love all animals, especially native animals. Oh yes, with that we never, ever let our cats outside. Instead we have put chicken wire completely covering our back Porch. This is for our cats so they can go outside, get sun and freash air. Thats alo where they go to the toilet so it doesnt stink out the house with the smell of kitty litter. Ill Spell check this and touch it up later.
