No, the XX's receiver isn't nearly big enough for their to be a counter balance issue. As for the "Oh it's just an anime" argument, original U.C Gundam was very realistic in regards to MS design, and the X's, DX's, and XX's design virtually no problems. I recognize the Satellite Cannon flaw but Heero would be stupid to try it on Garrod if they were already in combat, because he would be a sitting duck.
And Masashi Ikeda directed Gundam Wing
And Shinji Takamatsu directed Gundam X
The only common staff member is Kunio Okawara, as one of the mech designer
And the zero system couldn't replace Garrod's own instincts >:D

It's more agile yes, but if you look at the Wing Zero from a realistic perspective, that Gundam should be falling on its ass all the time because of the counterweight of Wings. That sort of unrealistic touch of silliness is what makes me just shake me head no towards the Wing Zero (both the series and OVA versions)
