It's possible that they all kind of know each other though, since both bands are from Versailles and were active in the 90s music scene...

So cool to see Scott play guitar on this one! Also, on the album version I've always thought the singing in the background alternates mainly between "Just drop the dice and roll it" and "Don't drop the ace and fold it".

@jessiesherman If you're talking about what comes in the background at about 1:50, it's a harmonium. It sounds kind of like a cross between an organ and an accordian, with a little more accordian in it than organ. It's also the same instrument they use at the beginning of "Afraid of Everyone".

@Coolasfonzie It's a trill between fret 2 and 3 on D string, then D string open; then do the same thing one string lower--trill between frets 2 and 3 on A string, then release to an open A. Listen to the song and you'll get it. It's really not difficult at all.

This is such a sexy song. I'm not the type of guy that likes to dance, but that groove during the "Fences in a row" part is so damn slick that it makes even me want to go to a French nightclub and bust a move.
