This is the best scene in the movie. One of the best American movies of the 80's. I can't believe the only one who's bothered to post this scene posted it in spanish. I can't find a single english language version. How ironic is that? :-/

"Together Forever" is a better song. Nobody better call THAT classic, "cheesy". Rick is a little guy with a very big voice and in my view, there's nothing cheesy about his music or the decade it came out of. CLASSIC is the "c" word that really fits.

Outstanding slide show- well done! Golden days of glamorous Hollywood. Just like the Overlook Hotel, Hollywood is chock full of ghosts. They probably dance to this song, the perfect one to symbolize the ghosts of a past era, long gone but not forgotten.

This ending is amazing. Creeps me out everytime. I think I'm in that picture. :)

I appreciate the conductor's technique. He's obviously absorbed in the experience of the music - as he should be - but he keeps his feet "on the ground' maintaining precise control. All the musicians are attunded together as well - more than just being "in synch". What a rush it must be for them!...

Great start! I lived through that amazing decade and loved all these songs. Unless you're doing a "weekly top 10", there's no way to confine a list of top 80's hits to only 10 songs. An accurate list of the best classics needs 4 or 5 more zeros after that 1.

@garpenat I've watched it several times and it's pretty flawless. A professional studio couldn't do a better editing job. Especially the dance scene with Danny and Sandy. Perfect timing between their steps and the instrumental section of Katy's song. Class job, start to finish.

Cliff Richard is a great artist and this song in particular has great memories for me, since I first heard it more than 30 years ago. Awesome to hear it again! I was just starting high school at the time and this song summed up my rising teen libido. :)
