I've built a few of these based on Tim's schematic and they sound nothing like this. Mine pretty much sound like ring modulators.

I can really hear the detail in the mics as you they run through your Behringer mixer, then out to speakers in your room as they are feeding back and then being picked up by your cameras internal mic. Outstanding.
