Yes, Bull Angus were a great NY band. Too bad they didn't release more than the two LP's featured within my videos. They had so much to offer...great musicianship, song writing etc. As good as some of the better known bands from that era for sure :)
Have a great weekend!

Yes, I agree about 'Stepson'...one of the many great bands of the 70's that didn't get the recognition they deserved. Have a nice weekend!

So glad you enjoyed Troyka!...and thank-you for the kind words :)
I actually met Rob Edwards, the guitarist from Troyka a few months ago during the filming of my YouTube documentary style video "Recordland"....sadly I turned my camera off at that point as not to be rude. We talked for about a half hour...he was also in the store shopping for vinyl. He overheard me talking about another old Canadian band from the 70's "Scrubbaloe Caine"...he then said to me; "have you ever heard of Troyka?"...Once he told me who he was, I recognized him immediately from the back cover photos of the Troyka LP. He also handed me his business card, and apparemtyl Troyka are back together after 40 years and playing small venues in and around Edmonton Alberta, Canada...which is not far from where I live. Hopefully I'll have the chance to see them perform live again...what a treat that would be!
Cheers!

Hi JJTC...I hope all is well. Thanks for stopping by :)
No, Canadians do not celebrate American Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving is on the 2nd Monday of October, which coincides with the US holiday "Columbus Day". The US celebrate its Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday of November. Unlike the US holiday, Canadians Thanksgiving celebration was not for harvest but rather in thanks for surviving the long journey from England through the perils of storms and icebergs in 1578. Our first Thanksgiving holiday can be traced back to that year. In the United States, the Thanksgiving holiday tradition traces its origins to a 1621 celebration at Plymouth in present-day Massachusetts.
Cheers!
