"PACASTAR SUPA NOVA" It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. With the game being a dog-eat-dog business, rapper/producer Pacastar Supa Nova a.k.a the little guy with the big voice, has barked his way up the Miami music tree for years and he is ready to bite. Born in Miami, Fl, Pacastar grew up in Little Haiti with both parents and 1 brother. At a time when the Haitian population was multiplying at an alarming rate, Pacastar turned to the streets to help him find his individuality amongst a sea of new comers. What he found would create the Pacastar we know today, a baby face chic magnet with a powerful flow and mean production skills. As a young man Pacastar just wanted to impress the ladies, but now that he's all grown up he understands the importance of diversity, "my target audience is everybody and anybody; I want to make the girls love me and the thugs respect me". Pacastar, which originally derived from Pacman the Red Star is now a name synonymous with anyone trying to shine. Good things come to those who wait as this down south veteran seeks out his first record deal. With the days of "back pack battle rap" behind him, the talented emcee is fully aware that industry credentials are just as important as the ones from the street, which is why he prides himself on being one of the hardest workers in the game. This characteristic can be observed on any of his songs as the hard-core rapper grabs the track and verbally attacks it with every word. As the Miami music scene continues to grow, so will fan appreciation for the type of music he calls "reality Hip-Hop with a commercial feel"; and it doesn't hurt that his style has drawn him comparisons to some of the greats doing it in the game right now. Pacastar is known for producing the track "Ball like a dog" which gained him much recognition after it helped Billy Blue ink a deal with Poe Boy/Konvict/Mosley. Still without a deal, Pacastar continues to pay his dues and remains humble. With Pacastar dropping new material daily, music lovers can look forward to a New Year's resolution that they can finally keep.... it's Now or Never!
