About Movies, Animations, Visual Effects and Fun

Hello Everyone, Ive been into Hollywood movies, Bollywood movies and Chinese Movies ever since I can remember watching them as a Baby.

As I grew up I performed in school plays and had developed a skill at drawing and designing characters and sets.

Upon leaving school, I started college studying Engineering - I learned a lot about designing machinery and also studied Motor Mechanics at the time. This was simply an interest and soon the creative bug in me would take over.

I soon went on to study Dramatic Arts and Movies at a renowned performing arts college -and I also later studied BA Honours in Animation at university.

I love YouTube and what it represents - I will be uploading some of my movies on to YouTube and maybe even creating movies for YouTube.

During my Drama and Media studies I studied Acting and Performance, theatrical set design, Character design, I storyboarded for short movies and also wrote screenplays for short movies, I studied theatrical lighting, stage fighting, dance and of course drama and performance - We had to audition succesfuly to get on to the course. - I also did a study of films in general.

Superstars such as Sunny Deol and Julie Walters have been known to attend the same Drama school at some point in there lives. Some of my best memories of study are at that institution.

Upon leaving Drama School I decided to work and raise money for university. I also concentrated on writing screenplays at this point. I worked in Telecomunications and progressed to working in Insurance and then Banking.

A few Years later - I went on to study a BA Honours in Animation - I took on the course because I wanted the knowledge of another kind of film making - Animation and Visual Effects. The course taught me how to create classic 2D animation and 3D Animation (CGI). It also taught me how to composite visual effects for animation and live action movies successfuly and making them believable. I also enhanced my sound design and sound composition skills here and went onto win an award for best sound on a movie for 'Dhyana' at the degree show festival for Animation students 2005. This was something I was surprised to have received considering I hardly slept (I worked two jobs while studying at University!)

The BA Honours and Movie Award led me to get into conversation with popular DJ Sonny Ji (BBC ASIAN NETWORK), and we soon became involved in the production of a documentary which has involved my filming Sonny Ji around Birmingham (including BBC Asian Network Radio studios), also filming him on location in places such as in Shoreditch, London and at the WOMAD 2007 Festival- It has also involved me sending my storyboards overseas to Hyderabad India where more scenes were filmed by a location crew with Sonny Ji. The movie is an ongoing Documentary project and will involve some more filming over a period of time before it is completed.
