The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) is a politico-military command whose name is Indigenous Revolutionary Clandestine Committee-General Command (CCRI-CG) of the EZLN, derived from its membership largely indigenous. He left the spotlight in the Mexican state of Chiapas on January 1, 1994 to take a number of municipal seats on the same day that went into force on the North American Free Trade Agreement americas North.the background of the EZLN were the Partido Obrero Clandestine Revolutionary People's Union (PROCUP), the National Revolutionary civic associations (ACNR), the Party of the Poor (PDLP), the September 23 Communist League and the National Liberation Forces (FLN ). Of the latter group, according to the same EZLN and according to various sources including investigations of the Mexican government, came the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN). In an act of November 17, 2006, the spokesman of the EZLN, Subcomandante Marcos, said: "In Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, more than 37 years ago, a small group of people born what they called National Liberation Forces. Since its gave the origin of an ethic of struggle after that inherits who we are part of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation. " The FLN was founded on August 6, 1969 in the north: (Monterrey, Nuevo Leon),the FLN retreated to a hiding even more closed, and would not until the early eighties when some of its militants would decide the founding of what is now known as the Zapatista Army of National Liberation.
According to documents Zapatistas, the history of the EZLN took seven stages. The first was the selection of the insurgents (five men and one woman) who would form the first cell politico-military organisation. The second would be to the foundation itself the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, after installing the first camp Zapatistas in Chiapas, which he called "The Nightmare". The third stage was preparation and study of military strategy and tactics, manuals from the U.S. and Mexican armies; installation of new camps as "The Cooker", "recruitment", "Baby Doc", "Youth" and to a so-called "Margaret Thatcher."

First Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle the insurgent group, under Article 39 of the Political Constitution of Mexico, raised the overthrow of then president, Carlos Salinas de Gortari, on charges that the elections of 1988 had usurped the post of first agent after a daunting electoral fraud and, with that same course, declared war on federal army calling the legislative and judicial powers; to restore legality and stability of the Nation depose the dictator.Second Declaration from the Lacandon Jungle to the realization of a National Democratic Convention (CND),national, sovereign and revolutionary, whose medium-term bet would be the establishment of a transitional government and the formation of a new Constituent; which in turn will draft a new Magna Carta.
The messages, essays, letters and communications Zapatistas would account of political arguments, demographic, cultural, philosophical, economic, interwoven that the key elements of his thought. Aparecida phrases like;"mandar obedeciendo"; or a world where many worlds fit&that would show what the Zapatistas mean by democracy and internationalism; revealing what they are complex phenomena such as low-intensity war and militarization; neoliberalism and globalization; collective rights of indigenous peoples and of women; autonomy and resistance, or the dignity and rebelliousness.
EZLN had issued its Third Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle, in which, after citing a manifesto of Benito Juárez, claimed that his struggle was a national rather than local, because;the indigenous question will have no solution if there is a radical transformation of national pact, and made an appeal to all social and political forces in the country to the formation of a National Liberation Movement. In theory, this movement to fight with the establishment of a transitional government, a new constitution, a new Magna Carta and the destruction of the State-Party System.
in the Fourth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle, would be around the track and not 11 but 13 points,anti-party system of State, for the sake of a new constitution and a new Constitution and for justice, freedom and democracy throughout and not just in the election,ie a democracy where those who send send obeying. On March 12, 1999, 5 thousand men and women of the EZLN insurgents, would come out of the five Zapatista Aguascalientes (centers encounter political and cultural sectors between the progressive civil society and the Zapatistas) due to more than 2 mil municipalities of the country to promote the National Consultation on the Recognition of the Rights of Native Peoples and the End of the War of Extermination, that the Zapatista Army of National Liberation convened at its Fifth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle since July 1998 under the failure of the government called San Andres Accords and the escalation Guerrero undertaken by the federal army, local police forces in the state of Chiapas and paramilitary groups.
EZLN advance so that in June 2005 would be the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle:
When you go to the left should not turn upward, but downward. The above is just one claudication with seats and governments, disguised as modern wisdom. The geography of the left (eye: I speak of the principles of Mexico del siglo XXI) extends below and often far above the frenzy. And then I speak from the left bottom, marginalized by the 'left' top of that both pleases the right.
