I wasn't suggesting you play a "slow version". There's a lot of room between "slow" and your performance's tempo. People play music for many reasons, though. In this case it seemed to me you were playing primarily to demonstrate your technical skills, with the music itself as an afterthought. But...

I like the Eastman's tone, but the Kentucky certainly has the others beat in terms of volume. And unless you're on a mic, you'll probably appreciate the volume more than anything else---that is, just being able to hear yourself play!
