Diesel... it burns.. but don't explode, automatically lubricates the engine, its more efficient and its cheaper to run. That's one of the reasons why these engines last forever.

It only depends where you're from.. If you're from that isolated place on earth called north america that is true, but if you're from the rest of the world you'll remember legends like Kankkunen, Sainz, Makinnen, Vatanen, McRae and nowadays Loeb. Thats the cons of living in a bubble.
