I remember this being on CBS Sunday afternoons in the 1970s. I am not old enought to remember this being new. I was only two when it premiered. Netflix is showing it on their site now.

@RetroBoyWontDie I do not know if it was just me, but Jeb seemed to like Charlie just a little too much. Their friendship was not believable and seemed one sided. I like my friends too, but I would not hang their picture on the wall, even if they died.

I remember seeing this when I was ten. It is one of the strongest television memories I have had. Katy Kurtzman's character was my age and it made me realize that death could happen to anyone.
