Here is Part 1 of the sketch comedy pilot from the minds who brought you Sex Garmin, Santa Claws, Stairway to Fitness and more. It's the STuFF FiLMS 42 minute comedy TV pilot! Please leave lots of comments and share away!
Enter the world of STuFF: A seamlessly integrated sketch comedy journey in the vein of Monty Python, Mr. Show and Upright Citizen's Brigade. In this pilot episode, we loosely follow a defrocked, rogue Priest around NYC in search of the next paid gig battling wizards, performance artists, racism and even the upper middle class (they've been passive aggressive for too long). ABOUT STuFF: STuFF is a NYC-based sketch comedy group, but not a sketch comedy troupe or sketch comedy ensemble, because those words are douche-y. Their work is a bellwether of socially conscious comedy, evidenced by the inclusion of chicks and black dudes and shit, and their style of humor demonstrates there is such a thing as too much maternal encouragement. Though the group name seems fairly straightforward, it actually is a derivation from the Albanian stypff, a mostly untranslatable word whose approximate meaning falls somewhere between 'theatrical' and 'fiscally responsible.' Critics rave about STuFF, somewhere, probably.
