The Student Media Group is the Official Publisher of "PLAN-IT" Campus Daily Planners. This publication is distributed every fall, before students begin classes at each of our schools around the country. There are so many things that happen in the typical day of a college student or university professor. We want to help them stay organized.
How We Help Students:
The PLAN-IT is a complete daily planner that will help any student in the university community become more organized. The PLAN-IT guide has three parts, the INFORMATION SECTION, the CALENDAR SECTION, and THE PLANNER YELLOW PAGES. In the front information section, students can learn about important dates in the academic arena, find when to plan for the big game, locate the buildings around campus, or learn about different organizations. In the calendar section, there is ample space to track class assignments, social events, and everything else needed to stay organized during the hectic school year.
How We Help Businesses:
When students head off for school, it's important that they not only explore ancient Egypt in history class, but that they also go out and learn about what the local area has to offer. That is why we decided to create the "PLANNER PAGES." It is a guide in a yellow page format of where to go and what to do. Sure...there are other yellow page sources available that feature home phone numbers, but many may soon become obsolete.
Just look around... everyone has a cell phone connected to their head. More and more students do not even pay for a home phone anymore. The Plan-It travels with the cell phone, and helps guide them towards menus, coupons and local business phone numbers. It is always right in their backpack. If they need to order food, find out if a store carries a certain item, create a reservation, or call for a tow, all the numbers are at their fingertips, right where they keep track of everything!

The Student Media Group wants to make a local impact on your community. That is why we have partnered with a local charity in each of our planner markets to distribute a portion of your advertising dollars to help out a good cause.
