About Straight Talk Wealth

StrtTlkWealthRadio is the YouTube extension of our national AM radio program, Straight Talk Wealth Radio. (See website for local airtime listings) The show is dedicated to exploring how Baby Boomers, GenXr's, and the rest of working America has not only been so greatly effected by the economic crisis in America, but how on an individual basis, we can overcome it's degradation of our retirement hope and dreams.

The fact is that the 80's and 90's ARE OVER in America. The stock market, the real estate market, and even the job market will remain in a deflationary Winter at least until the end of the decade.

Straight Talk Wealth radio explores how we got here, how things have changed, and how any individual can Prepare, Protect, and still Prosper in the coming decade of change in America.

About this user

Bruce Weide was quite happy dedicating his life to non-profit and charitable causes for the first 18 years of his working life. Essentially working as a local marketing executive in Orange County, CA for various drug rehab and literacy programs from 1977 to 1995, and having met his wife Mary in 1982 in the same field, Bruce often talks about living modestly but being rich in personal fulfillment through those years.

In 1985, life shifted in another direction when their son, Nathan, was born at 1 1/2 lbs. and was brought home on a life support machine requiring 24/7 attention for a year and a half of his life.

Bruce tells the story, "As it became clear to me that Nathan was never going to be in a condition to care for himself, suddenly, I had to contemplate preparing for two retirements - mine and my son's."

Bruce only began in 1998 educating himself in the financial world. In January 2000 Bruce quit his "day job" and opened up his first office in the Commercial Bank Building on Brand Blvd., in Glendale, CA, providing retirement planning and insurance products to young families. By burning the midnight oil on his own study and education, his practice grew into building larger corporate pension pans for owners, officers, and key executives of successful small and mid-size businesses.

"What I learned at that time, after the Tech Bubble of 2000, was how so many very successful earners were demanding GUARANTEED outcomes, aside from their risky investment portfolios. My job became not one of risk, but providing for the certainties.

From there, Bruce made another career move and entered the world of radio. He can currently be heard on KRLA, and several other So. California radio stations, where he hosts "Straight Talk Wealth Radio". Bruce considers himself lucky to be able to help others in areas of financial uncertainty and loves being the voice for so many hard-working savers, like himself, who want to get control of their financial future without their entire retirement outcome being at the mercy of the distant causes and effects of Walt Street hedge funds, and politicians whose only solution to America's economy is to put this country further into debt.
