About this user

I'm like any other single Mother, but I have Cerebral Palsy and some other health issues: Arthritis, Asthma, Degenerative Disk Disease, Gout, Migraines, and Sclerosis. Nobody really know the pain I endure. I'm a happy person most of the time. I use a power wheelchair.

All of my friends are just in awe. They are always saying, they don't know how I can handle everything. God is my strength.
Both of my boys have special needs, and they are in Special Ed part of the day. I want what is the best for my sons! I'm so proud of my sons. I love my children, friends and pets! These are the things I live for.
I have joint custody of my boys now, and spending time with my boys is very important to me.

Every since I was born, I've defined all odds against me. I was a strong willed child, and my parents tried to teach me to use my strong will to my advantage. I learned to craw, feed myself, write and so much more, so I could be independent as possible. I graduated from Jr. High and High school with honors.

I had the same dreams as most girls of getting married and having children. I never thought about divorce being in the picture. I've also been in debt. By now, I've done pretty much of every thing, that any other women has done. Even my sister has been through all these things. My sister is not disabled. I do miss her a lot. She lives in Alabama, and it's been about six years since I've seen her.

Even though I have Cerebral Palsy, I still live a "normal" life. What ever normal is. Having Cerebral Palsy can be interesting, because parts of my body behave as though it has a mind of it's own. It can be frustrating at times. I try to take things as they come, and add some humor to it. The way I look at it, I have two chooses: I can laugh, or I can cry. I would rather laugh!

Here is a Poem I wrote when I was teenager.

I can cry,
I can do almost any thing ,
