About this user

Study with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra - including principal players - at the Philadelphia International Music Festival (SIMF) at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. This resident program includes private lessons, daily orchestra and chamber music rehearsals, master classes, solo performance opportunities, concerto competitions, private practice seminars, mandatory private practice hours, optional choir and ear-training courses and much more. The 14-day program - directed by Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violin of The Philadelphia Orchestra - includes up to seven orchestra levels and is open to students of all ages and skill levels, from near-beginners to outstanding high school and college-age performers. There are separate programs for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors preparing for college auditions (College Auditions Preparation Program), and students desirous of concentrating on solo performance preparation (Solo Performance Preparation Program).
