Strange Dolls Cult is a new deathrock band based in Vienna, Austria. The band was founded in September 2005 by vocalist The Dollslut and bassist Delirium, soon to be joined by drummer Torfduck, who had previously played in the rock band Proxivision with Delirium, and guitarist Mademoiselle Mal. Our influences include bands such as Bauhaus, UK Decay, Sopor Aeternus, Cinema Strange and Play Dead.

We played our first live gig as a support for Cinema Strange in June 2006, followed by a gig at Evolution Festival 2 (both in Vienna).

A 7" vinyl single of Puppets' Dance & Ruins of Western Civilization is soon to be released by Catastrophe Ballet Records.
