About this user
I am an American who converted to Islam, I do wear the niqab as you see in the picture and I do believe that Islam is the greatest gift ever given to mankind. Allahu Akhbar!
And for those of you that think you can convert me out of Islam...that won't happen...I'm very strong in my beliefs. I'm not uneducated when it comes to religion. My mom is a Jew & my dad is a Christian, my grandma is a Christian minister and I was raised in a private Christian school. I used to be a Muslim basher like many of the non Muslims who like to visit Islamic chat rooms or view Islamic videos just to hate us. Yeah I was once one of you...I never thought I would convert to Islam. But I did after my own study of the Qur'an and Islamic teachings. Don't believe everything the mass media says or everything you hear so much is taken out of context.
I do live in an area that lacks Muslims...in fact it's a 5 hours drive to the nearest masjid. I can't go as often as I would like, and the local courts are holding me hostage in this area. I am the only Muslim in the area who is proud to be a Muslim and displays it. You will not find another Niqabi around here. Which is why my husband married me...he found me to be stronger than most. How I can walk down the streets in the full veil in an area where I'm the only one. People throw rocks and other hard objects, they curse at me and my children, they have tried to run me down with a car more than once and I have been shot at, my car and house do get vandalized, I've had the brake lines cut on my car 12 times. Don't think I'm going to back down from Islam. I stand no matter what. I'd rather die standing for Islam then die any other way. Being I have been unable to join my husband he has decided to come here and join me being we are expecting a baby in July and the court's have told me I have to stay until at least mid August when the judge will decide if I can leave or not.
