Hello! Well, I guess I'd better introduce myself first - I'm Storm.
You see, I'm a serious tree-hugger. I'm also really, really against senseless wars. I'm not naive enough to think that all war is senseless, and I'm certainly not having a rant at the armed forces of the world - I think they are all incredibly brave. I just wish there wasn't a need for them to go risk their lives. From what I've seen on TV, and heard on the radio, half the world still seems to be in the middle of wars that happened centuries ago - we can't seem to learn to let go. I'm only in my mid-teens, and I always feel so helpless, but I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. So I thought, where better to start trying to achieve if not world peace, then world friendship, than with the children? We tend to be more open-minded than adults - we haven't become quite as jaded yet. Then I thought, people become friends if they have a common goal to work towards - and what better goal to have, than caring for the planet? If that's not something we all have in common, I don't know what is. So this is telling you what I stand for. I'm holding out my hand to each and every one of you, and asking you one question... Will you help me? We can change the world - but we're going to have to start now. - Storm
